1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the Terms) form a binding agreement between you and Ahmed Sulaiman trading as Slideshot (Slideshot, we, our, or us) regarding your access to and use of the Slideshot website, API, web application, and related services (together, the Service).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

##

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with us and are authorised to use the accounts, applications, websites, and data involved in your runs.

You are responsible for your account credentials, API keys, stored login credentials, and all activity that occurs under your account or keys. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account or keys have been compromised.

##

3. What the Service Does

Slideshot lets you submit a target URL and a goal so the Service can automate a browser session, record the resulting interaction, and return artifacts such as event logs, traces, source scripts, and video files.

Some runs may pause while awaiting one-time authentication input, such as an OTP code or magic-link URL. The Service is currently offered on an evolving, early-stage basis, so features, limits, and workflows may change over time.

##

4. Fees and Pricing

If you purchase or use paid access, you agree to pay the fees, usage charges, and taxes presented to you on the website, in an order flow, or in another written commercial arrangement with us.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing prospectively by updating the website or giving you other notice before the new pricing applies.

##

5. Your Inputs and Outputs

As between you and Slideshot, you retain your rights in the prompts, target URLs, credentials you supply, one-time authentication inputs you submit, and other materials you provide to the Service (Inputs). Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any third-party rights, you also retain your rights in the recordings and other generated artifacts the Service returns to you (Outputs).

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, process, and display Inputs and Outputs only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

-

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access, automate, record, and submit the websites, applications, content, credentials, and data involved in each run.

-

You must not use the Service to record or process information in a way that violates privacy, confidentiality, employment, intellectual property, or other legal obligations.

-

Outputs may include third-party content or personal data that was visible in the browser session you instructed us to run. You are responsible for your use and sharing of those Outputs.

##

6. Credentials and Authentication Inputs

The Service allows you to store domain-specific login credentials and to submit one-time authentication inputs during a run. You may do this only for systems you are authorised to access.

We use stored credentials and one-time authentication inputs solely to execute the runs you request. We do not return stored passwords in API responses, and we may reject, suspend, or terminate use of the Service if we believe stored credentials or authentication inputs are being used unlawfully or without authorisation.

##

7. Acceptable Use

-

Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

-

Do not use the Service to gain unauthorised access to any account, application, website, or data, or to help anyone else do so.

-

Do not interfere with the Service, disable security features, introduce malware, reverse engineer the Service, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law.

-

Do not use the Service to build a competing service, benchmark it for public comparison without our written consent, or bypass usage limits or access controls.

-

Do not submit special category data, health data, payment card data, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information unless you have a clear lawful basis, necessary notices and consents, and suitable safeguards.

##

8. Third-Party Services and Target Websites

The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and may interact with third-party websites and applications that you choose. Your use of those third-party services remains subject to their own terms, policies, and technical constraints.

We are not responsible for the availability, security, legality, or performance of third-party websites, login systems, cloud providers, AI providers, or other external services. A target website may change, block automation, or present inaccurate or unexpected content, and that can affect run results.

##

9. Intellectual Property and Feedback

We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service itself, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

##

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you want account or data deletion beyond the controls available in the product, contact us at the address listed below.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we believe you have breached these Terms, created security risk, used the Service unlawfully, failed to pay applicable fees, or exposed us or others to liability.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including those about ownership, payments, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law, will survive.

##

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular compliance, legal, or operational requirement. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for publication without your review.

##

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) GBP 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

##

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service, suspend features, or update these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above.

By continuing to use the Service after revised Terms become effective, you agree to the updated Terms.

##

14. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms and any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, except to the extent mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at ahmed@slideshot.ai.
